All the sectoral indices ended in the red. bse midcap and smallcap indices fell over 1 percent each.
IT stocks underperform - Persistent Systems, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree down 3-5%
It index underperformed, down over 2 percent dragged by tech mahindra, hcl tech and infosys which shed 2-3 percent followed by tata consultancy services.



Tata Elxsi share price gains as Q2 profit jumps 58% to Rs 78 crore
The company reported a 58.3 percent increase in net profit to rs 78.8 crore for the september 2020 quarter. it had registered a net profit of rs 49.8 crore in the year-ago period, tata elxsi said in a regulatory filing.


Tata Steel shares gain after Jefferies retain buy for a target of Rs 485
Jefferies is of the view that bsl gives strong start to q2 steel results adding that bsl#39;s performance has positive read through for tata and jswâ??s standalone results.


Mindtree share price slips 9% ahead of Q2 earnings
The share touched its 52-week high rs 1,605.45 and 52-week low rs 675.80 on 14 october, 2020 and 14 november, 2019, respectively.
